Williamsburg is a city popular for tourists; people come from all over to experience the historic atmosphere it offers. They become so submerged in the culture, however, that they fail to notice the oddities lurking about - the place is inhabited by shifters. They live incognito, and because of this, they struggle to live their lives happily. With every move, they are haunted by the fear of being discovered. The question isn't can you survive - it's can you live your life? Skipping Steps is an intermediate to advanced shape shifting role-play with a 200 word minimum for in character posts. Our community is just getting started - feel free to build it with us! You form the plot, and you decide where we go next.

Hello and welcome to Skipping Steps! Take a few minutes to read over these guidelines and get acquainted with the expectations of our community.
Chat Rules
1. First and foremost, be respectful to others.
2. Profanity is tolerated to a certain extent; it is preferred that you join this site only if you are at least sixteen years old. Therefore, keep the language and content PG 16 in chat
3. No confrontation in chat - take it to private messages if you can't handle yourselves.
4. Try to refrain from discussing controversial topics
5. If possible, include everyone in your conversations
Character Creation
1. Do not make a flawless character.
2. Characters must be at least 13 years of age.
3. Be sure any pictures used are not under copyright.
4. Follow the word minimum required for each section. If you're having trouble, post what you have and staff will help you out.
